Her approach is calm, structured, sensory-aware, and focused on building trust through consistency and empathy.
Holistic & Airway-Aware Preventive Care
Yasmeen believes preventive dentistry must look beyond the teeth. Her holistic approach emphasizes the connection between oral health, breathing patterns, sleep quality, gum inflammation, and long-term wellness.
During her hygiene sessions, Yasmeen carefully screens for:
- Mouth breathing and open-mouth posture
- Signs of sleep-disordered breathing
Inflammation linked to airway or nasal obstruction - Dry mouth, snoring indicators, and oral habits affecting sleep
- Gum disease is connected to systemic health
She takes time to explain how oral health influences overall health — especially in children and patients with chronic conditions — empowering families to make informed decisions.
Leader in Special Needs & Chronic Illness Care
Yasmeen has extensive experience supporting patients with special healthcare needs, including those with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, anxiety, medical limitations, and sensory challenges. Her work leading the HOPE Project showcased her commitment to accessible, preventive dental care for children and adults with chronic illnesses and complex needs.
Whether guiding parents, working alongside specialists, or adapting clinical techniques for comfort, Yasmeen’s care is always personalised, respectful, and deeply compassionate.
